Strengthening TB Management Governance in West Lombok
STPI makes resource management in the West Lombok Regency area since 2021-2022
Activities in 2021
After the COVID-19 pandemic hit, STPI created programme activities to mobilise the Regional Government of West Lombok Regency in forming a Regional Action Plan for TB. In addition, STPI also facilitated the formation of Sandik Village Regulation and Sesela Village Regulation on TB Management. Other advocacy resulting from STPI-facilitated activities are the Sandik Village Strategic Plan (RENSTRADES) and Sesela Village Strategic Plan.
To strengthen TB control, TB Alert Villages were formed in Sandik and Sesela villages. One of the learning media to attract people to read is through murals. Murals are an attractive tool for the community because the pictures are not only interesting but also informative.
Activities in 2022
Over the course of a year, the finalisation of the Regional Action Plan, the development of the programme's exit strategy, the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the involvement of cadres in TB prevention by health centre and the development of the TB programme's exit strategy.
The year 2022 is the last year for the programme in West Lombok Regency. Closing the project took place in December 2022 with termination to the local government and relevant health centres.
