TB Side Event at G20 HWG Indonesia 2022
The G20 Summit is an informal group of 19 countries including Indonesia and the European Union as well as representatives from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB). In addition, the G20 is the world's premier economic strategic forum representing approximately 65% of the world's population, 79% of global trade and at least 85% of the world economy.
In 2022, the G20 Summit was held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Issues discussed around the economy and non-economy included Tuberculosis (TB) with a side event titled ‘Financing TB Control: Addressing COVID-19 Disruption and Building Future Pandemic Preparedness’ in support of the first Health Working Group (HWG) meeting facilitated by the Indonesian Ministry of Health in collaboration with Stop TB Partnership Indonesia (STPI).
